La feuille d'eau, by Agnès b. and Philippe Starck

On 5 June, the Danielle Mitterrand Foundation has launched a major campaign for the right of access to water for all. It is called the Water Carriers campaign and agnès b is involved in this action.
Becoming a Water Carrier means making a daily commitment to the idea that we are all responsible, at our various levels, for safeguarding water, an irreplaceable resource that is the mainstay of life.
The Water Carriers have a sign by which they can be recognised: the water leaf.
Philippe Starck has designed this totally new container for Danielle Mitterrand and her Foundation and in so doing offers all Water Carriers an object that is useful and meaningful, a sign of their commitment to fighting for this cause.
Agnès.b presented this bottle at her men fashion show on Monday, 28th.
Carrying the bottle is an indication that the carrier belongs to the community of Water Carriers, shares their values and wants to transmit their message that “Water is the shared possession of all humanity and has no price”. The funds from the sale of the water leaf will go towards financing activities supported by the Foundation throughout the world.
The water leaf is completely recyclable.
Public retail price: 5 euros of which 2 euros goes to the France Libertés Foundation Available with free shipment on france-libertes.org or on Agnes B. website.

JoJo Project
Once again, i just discovered a great “eco-project” and i wanted to share it.
So great to see such interesting projects emerging, showing the awarness and the will of the generation Y to change things and the way we consume.
After the sucess story of Maxime Mussard and Louis-Fenix de Fenoyl with Twins For Peace (BUY 1 PAIR OF SHOES = GIVE 1 PAIR TO A CHILD), the one of Julien and Luc with their so-french Espadrille Maurice&Moi (BUY 1 PAIR OF SHOES= SUPPORT ONE MICRO-CREDIT PROJECT) and the cute boxer shorts of Monsieur Chat l’Heureux (organic cotton and sustainable development with the garanty Max Havelaar),
Here are the JoJo shoes:

Two 24 year old belgians guys, Matt and Chris. They didn’t have much in common, except their friendship and that was enough to decide to launch an ambitious project together.
They wanted to Create and distribute a product with a strong concept that carries with it a positive action that benefits the environment.
Today Jojo is born, in the shape of a pair of trainers made in Brazil, with a look reinterpreted by a young Belgian designer. Part shoe, part bandage, Jojo tries to “take care of” certain fractures in our world.
Through a partnership with NGOs working on the ground, each pair sold means concrete support for one of the following projects:
• Planting trees in Niger/Africa.
• Installing water pumps in Kenya/Africa.Follow the JoJo Project on Twitter
